Union Lido sent over their new logo this morning, and we are proud to be part of their continued success, and in 2015 they were awarded a 5th star making them the first five star campsite in Italy! A wonderful accolade and 60th birthday present for them and another great 30th celebration for Bolero!

In 30 days Bolero Holidays opens it's doors to the first holidaymakers at Union Lido, and to celebrate 30 years of bringing happiness and wonderful memories, we wanted to share some with you! Over the next 30 days, we will post pictures, articles and letters about Bolero, about Union Lido and more importantly, about you! The much anticipated extension to the Union Lido Aqua Laguna swimming pool complex has been well under-way since the start of the year, and now that the Bolero team has arrived in Italy ready to begin work on preparing our mobile home accommodation for it's first visitors of the holiday season, we thought we'd pop down and take some new photos to show you more of this exciting new slide complex coming this May!

Union Lido have finally unveiled their new Aqua Park project for 2015! This new multi-slide Tiki Tiki themed jungle water park will feature the following amazing attractions!

1 SUPER SLIDE - 10m high double track slides

2 SPEEDY HOUSE - A castle with 4 x 7 m high slides and 12 different interactive water games

3 TIBET BRIDGE - A game suspended on the water

4 RELAX ISLAND - 2 equipped relaxation areas

5 SPRAY PARK - 2 small water cannons | Water bucket tree | The little bridge fountain | Aquatic duel game | 3 water bazookas | Sea urchin spray tree | Whale game | 3 arched trees

Holiday News aqua parks, 2015

Union Lido and public transport is a smooth and easy way to travel to and from the airport / holiday park and in 2015, the local bus company ATVO have decided to make this an even easier process by running a dedicated service to and from Punta Sabbioni.

This new route passes Union Lido on it's way to Lido de Jesolo, before making it's journey to Venice Marco Polo airport and finally Venice Treviso Airport. Feel free to open and download the following document to help with this new route!

The first of it's kind on the Venetian coast, built in 1955 and sporting one of the most iconic water towers in Europe, Union Lido will shortly be awarded it's final fifth star, making the holiday park an even more desired location in 2015!

Hopefully you have your Bolero Holiday already booked for 2015, but fear not… 2016 is also open!

Union Lido are set to provide free Wifi internet access to all it's guests in 2015. You can opt for a higher speed access by paying for a premium speed service.

1MB speeds will be available to access throughout your holiday for no extra charge giving you easy access to your emails, or sharing a photo on Facebook / Twitter or even the Bolero Holidays website should you wish to enjoy more of Union Lido and Bolero whilst on holiday!

We are very excited to announce the new additions to the Bolero Family! We decided to replace all of our remaining two bedroom Murano mobile homes with new versions for 2015! They are still a two bedroom model, ideal for a maximum of 4 persons or less, but now they compliment our Torcello and Venezia mobile homes, lending a familiar feel across our entire range of accommodation at Union Lido.

We look forward to these mobile homes being used for the first time in 2015!
