The more you know, the more you can relax and enjoy yourself, and here at Bolero, we are always available to help with any enquiry you have about the holiday park, about Bolero and it's range of accommodation, travelling to Italy, getting to Union Lido Mare from the airport or any general questions you may have, we are happy to help.
We have split the questions up into sections that may help you quickly identify an answer to something you presently wish to ask. Just hover / click on the corresponding question below to view the answer, and hopefully this will help with your planning.
We can of course discuss anything with you directly over email or the phone via +44 1642 714000 so feel free to contact us during open hours Mon-Fri, 09.00 - 17.00, or if we are closed you can leave an answerphone message and we will get back to you at the next earliest opportunity.
The Union Lido Mare holiday park is located near Cavallino, on the Venice Peninsular. This provides easy access to Venice and the surrounding islands. You can view the Google Map location below.
Thanks to Google Earth, we can show you exactly where Bolero is at Union Lido Mare. Watch the video to discover our centrally positioned location. We have 47 mobile homes located here, close to amenities, and within short walking distances to all of the Union Lido Mare parks main attractions.
We maintain the mobile home accommodation to a level that makes it feel like you are the first family to use the accommodation the moment you step in. Quality is assured regardless of which model you choose. It mainly depends on your family size (apart from the Sorrento which stands in a class of it's own against the other models), and the layout you want from your accommodation.
For families of 4 and below, you have access to our full range of accommodation, including the smaller Murano mobile home (suitable for couples and families up to 4 persons) and the larger 3 bedroom models, including the mid-size Venezia, the larger Torcello or the newest luxury model in the Bolero crown, the Sorrento. You can click on each of the names to view more about them, see layout plans and even find out more about what each mobile home is equipped with, and more about our linen and beach towel hire packages.
For families of 5 or 6 (6 is the maximum Bolero can accept in any of our 3 bedroom mobile home models irrespective of age) the Venezia, Torcello and Sorrento mobile homes offer the perfect amount of space and accompanying comfort throughout your stay.
All of the Bolero accommodation has air-conditioning as standard, along with an outside terraced area with an overhead canopy, lockable gate and a table and chair set. The Sorrento has a newly developed terrace, along with an extra rattan seating area.
Yes, Bolero can accommodate all ages. In the twin room(s) of the accommodation we can remove a single bed to provide a cot (must be pre-booked) which comes with it's own linen, and is prepared before you arrive. For those children transitioning from a cot to a single bed, we can provide a cot-side (free of charge) to provide extra security and peace of mind. For those wishing to bring their own travel cot, we can remove the single bed in advance of your arrival (this will be confirmed during the booking stage or at least 4 weeks before your arrival)
Union Lido Mare prides itself on being one of the most family friendly holiday parks you could wish for, depending on your holiday needs / wants, Union Lido Mare adapts to suit you. From a simple spot on a private beach with the occasional ice-cream vendor passing by, to a full on work out at the gym, or a scuba diving lesson, football training, horse-riding or maybe just a few laps of the pool and a meal out at one of the many restaurants whilst listening to a live band is all you need.
For children, Union Lido Mare runs kid clubs for all ages, with arts, crafts, sports and even song and dance, for teens they have social venues, a 4d cinema, arcades, theme parks and the all important wifi!. You'll find yourself spoilt for choice at Union Lido Mare, so rest assured, it's balanced to meet the needs of all ages.
The area around Union lido Mare is natural forestry which is further surrounded by lagoons that span the peninsular. This provides the perfect breeding ground for Mosquitoes. Union Lido Mare devotes a lot of time to minimise the population at the holiday park, focusing their attention on the trees above using eco-friendly methods. However, Union Lido Mare can only do so much to distract them from their natural desires, so chances are you may get bitten. We recommend the methods that help work, including lotions, sprays, wristbands which can work really well for some, and have almost no effect on others. We ask that if you are using products with deet, please apply them away from anywhere they could potentially stain the inside or outside of the mobile home. We also recommend a curtain / blind check before settling down on an evening just to be sure no uninvited guest may have entered the accommodation.
The short answer is no, you do not need a car to enjoy the area around the Union Lido Mare holiday park as the public transport system is so good, unless you wished to drive right out or the locality, 3-4 hour away to visit Verona or perhaps out to Lake Garda. That said, Bolero can offer 1 parking space for 1 vehicle per booking, so if you did wish to drive or hire a car from the airport, we can accommodate this.
When making a full reservation (once the holiday season's full prices are released online) you can either use the Bolero Holidays Italy Ltd online reservation system, or book via the UK office over the phone or by email. For those wishing to use the online service, the online search tool above will help you to find the dates and accommodation that suit, and an online reservation system will take you through the booking process step by step, collecting important data before finally requesting a non-refundable deposit of £200 / 200€ to secure the booking using a valid credit / debit card.
Following this, Bolero Holidays Italy Ltd will send you a full confirmation holiday invoice which will total the holiday cost, along with a balance due date 8 weeks before you travel.
Bolero offers a minimum stay of 7 nights from mid May until early September. Before and after this period, we can be more flexible with those wishing to stay 10 or 12 nights for example, but from mid May until September, all holidays are booked in 7, 14, 21 or 28 night blocks only. We aim to provide 14 nights as the standard holiday stay, but we can offer 1 week stays on some dates, or 3 to 4 week stays if availability permits.
Based on availability, Bolero can offer 4 arrival days during the week. Holidays in the Torcello, Venezia, or Murano mobile homes can begin on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday and booked in blocks of 7 nights (unless otherwise agreed directly with the UK office). For those wishing to reserve the Sorrento mobile home, arrivals are presently focused on Saturday or Sunday arrival days only.

The pricing for these items are listed on the mobile home accommodation pages, alongside the inventory list.
All holiday balances are due to be paid 8 weeks before you arrive at Union Lido Mare. We print this date on the bottom of your holiday confirmation invoice when you pay your full deposit. You can then decide how you wish to pay for your holiday, either in as many instalments as you wish, or as a single payment on or before the due date.
Payments can be made online or over the phone using a valid debit / credit card, or via bank transfer (banking details are printed on your holiday confirmation) Any balances left unpaid 7 days after the due date may be cancelled without notification.
Bolero Holidays Italy Ltd provides holiday confirmation invoices which show the holiday details, the number of persons booked, pricing including any discounts if applicable, and any optional extras you may have booked. The holiday confirmation also shows the balance and due date. This information is normally delivered to you by email in the form of a PDF document, but can be posted out if you do not use email. Once the holiday balance is settled on or before the 8 week due date (printed on the holiday confirmation), you are sent a holiday voucher approximately 4 weeks before you travel to Union Lido Mare.
The voucher explains the arrival and departure system with Union Lido Mare and Bolero Holidays, and includes information on your holiday, travel details and lists the names of all those arriving. This must be printed off and taken with you to verify you as a Bolero customer, with Union Lido Mare when you arrive.
